INTERNSHIPS

CAMP INTERNSHIP PROGRAM

To all crafters, musicians, dreamers, dancers, river wanderers, hot glue gun wizards, lovers of paper-mache and the beyond mysterious people:

The CAMP Internship program is for the curious, imaginative and self-motivated to join us and enter into a life-long discovery with the mask and puppetry arts. They are opportunities to gain intimate insight and hands-on experience within a professional theatrical environment, being embraced to participate in possible performances, be on teams creating puppets and lanterns and have the opportunity to attend professional workshops teaching new fabrication/craft skills; all the while building relationships with artists across Calgary and Alberta. Our goal is to inspire interest in the mask and puppetry arts through an involved view with the artistic process.

We are especially invested in creating as diverse an environment as possible, and would like to make space for interns of a wide range of emerging levels, ages, ethnicities, gender identities, nationalities and backgrounds. Not having theater experience and/or not being familiar with the work of the theater should not deter you from applying.
